Robin Wilson

Remote sensing academic

My research interests cover a broad range of topics within the field of remote sensing:

  • During my PhD I developed a novel method to measure Aerosol Optical Thickness (basically the clarity of the atmosphere) from satellite images at a very high resolution.
  • During my Doctoral Training year (a bit like a MSc) I developed a simple ray-tracing radiative transfer model.
  • During my undergraduate degree I did a dissertation and a number of pieces of coursework which, to a certain extent, stand as pieces of research in their own right.
